I was born September 11th in Columbus, Ms. I am the second oldest of 6 girls. I attended Hughes Elementary School, Hunt Jr. High, Joe Cook and S.D. Lee High School. I graduated in 1977 and attended Mississippi University for Women with a major in Fashion Merchandise. While attending MUW, I was a member of The MUW Dance Team, A member of the Correttas Social Club and the Coralettes Singing Team. After college I worked at Super X Drugs, Belk Department Store before getting into radio in 1982.
