Meek Mill's Dreams and Nightmares is expected to post strong first-week sales despite being released in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. According to Hits Daily Double, the disc is projected to sell 175-200,000 this week, even though many East Coast fans can't get to stores.

Meek says he doesn't put too much stock into first-week sales. He tells MTV, "My album will sustain itself just like my mixtapes. I continued to rap all year long. I toured on mixtapes that been put out almost a year ago, two years ago... It's kinda damaging for the first two days, but luckily we got iTunes, and when stores open up we'll get back on track."
