Listen to French Montana on iHeartRadio
One man is in custody for last week's deadly shooting outside of rapper French Montana's tour bus in Philadelphia.
Frank Briggs was arrested Tuesday in connection with the shooting that killed one member of Montana's entourage and wounded another. The 20-year-old faces a laundry list of charges including murder, attempted murder, and aggravated assault.
French Montana is speaking up about the shooting, saying that it took place as he was listening to Meek Mill's mixtape in the back of his tour bus. After hearing gunshots, he went to the front of the bus and people began running inside. Montana was also quick to shoot down rumors that he was the target of the shooting. He points out that his bus didn't have any bullet holes in it and adds that as long as the shooters weren't targeting the bus "there was nothing to be worried about."
Montana is gearing up to release his first studio album Excuse My French, which is scheduled to hit stores on May 21st. The album is set to feature appearances by Rick Ross, Diddy, Lil Wayne, Drake and others.
